Most TCFP 40-hour certification courses consist of 4 days of non-stop classroom and 1 day outside doing a field day.  At TWT, that’s not how we do things…..

 

Our philosophy:

Firefighting is an art and a trade.  The best way to learn is by doing.  We minimize time spent in the classroom and cover our learning objectives in the field, whenever possible.  Not only does it keep the students more engaged, it leads to better retention. There is no better way to learn something new than by actually doing it.  We take a hands-on approach to training that reinforces the relevance of the training.
